“…continuous improvement, instead of perfection.” A Kim Collins quote.

There are several ITIL 4 Guiding Principles that can be tied to this quote, but the one that sticks out the most is ‘Progress Iteratively With Feedback’. This also ties into the Agile methodology.

Sometimes we (and I am guilty of this, too) fall back to the Waterfall approach where we have all this time to plan and then implement this perfectly planned out ‘thing’, but it is never perfect, nor will it ever be. So let’s get the MVP (minimum viable product) out there and work lockstep with the business to continuously improve upon it and meet the business needs.
