Roman Guard With Apostles Prison

How To Be Saved and…

…Have Eternal Life.

“And he brought them out and said, ‘Sirs, what must I do to be saved?’

So they said, ‘Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.’”

Acts 16:30-31 NKJV

The question was asked in the 1st century A.D. by a Roman guard that had fallen to his knees. The answer comes from 2 of the prisoners, Paul & Siilas, who were also Apostles.

They were arrested for teaching the Truth about Jesus, then they were worshipping and praising God in the jail, and then, even stayed after God had created an earthquake that caused the cell doors to open.

The guard thought they escaped, and the penalty is death, but they didn’t leave. Instead, they saved him and his family and baptized them.

That is it, believe that Jesus Christ is your Savior and the Holy Spirit will work with you on your walk with God. There are no traditions or customs you HAVE to do, no church you HAVE to attend, no book you HAVE to read, no music you HAVE to listen to or not listen to. The changes of your life will happen as God intends, and more importantly, WHEN God intends.

Now, in order to hear the Holy Spirit, you have to listen in your head and hear His voice (not yours or the enemy’s). What helps with that? Going to church, praise & worshipping Him through music, reading the Holy Bible. (I would start in the New Testament with ‘John’ (the 4th Gospel) and then start back at the beginning.) Again, it is not a HAVE, but it does HELP.

Thank you for your time,
